Yes. They also made a V-8 and several sizes of V-6 in the same family. The Twin Six was only good for about 600 ft/lb and 300 HP, and redlined somewhere around 2,500 RPM. Weighed about a ton, too.

You can usually win a bar bet on the first year for the GM 305. Everyone will guess something in the mid-'70s, forgetting about the 305 V-6 made in 1960.
