The drivers door locks are common for failing, they have a little mechanism inside them that has a spring/latch fall off and it stops the door from being unlocked by any normal means. The central locking is controlled by a motor at the bottom of this lock, while the key/handle works on the top of this lock. The broken part is in the middle of the lock. Took about 2 hours for a mechanic to open the door. Had to break a part of the door lock mechanism for it to open.
