I was aware of the mods for the cameras but I chose to leave it as normal. I recall reading there is still some controversy over whether that car is the actual number 20 or one of the other camera cars. Porsche had a tendancy to move chassis identification plates around.
willimo: the "hinges" are not intended to be really functional, just allow positioning open or closed. Since the breakage it looks like the door won't even be that!
