97 Skylark Temp problem
Hey guys,
I was just wondering what the problem is here. I have a 97 Skylark Limited with 63,000 miles on it. Lately when I have been driving it. It seems it wants to idle high, then when you put it into gear it lowers then sometimes it goes back to idleing high when I stop. Now I have also noticed that my temp. gauge is going so high it's setting off the warning lights but, soon as it turns the lights on is when I guess the fan is turning on and my temp will go down. Has anyone had this problem before? Just wanted to see what anyone says before I take it to the garage. I have no mechanical ability either so please try to tell me in laymen terms. LOL
