The VW service manual on microfiche can be bought on CD from your VW dealership for around $110. If you plan to have your car for more than a couple years and want to do your own work, I'd recommend it as well. If you don't already have a 12 point torx set, pick it up now. You won't be able to remove your half shafts without one.
