That would result in a mean piston of 9000 feet per minute. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that I don't think anyone has EVER done that. I can't imagine what the cam would look like to sustain that either. The cams would be open for so long that you'd need a second engine just to spin it fast enough to start. F1 motors spin to 5200 ft/min, and NASCAR engines spin to 5600 ft/min. Quarter mile dragsters range from 5500 to 8000 ft/min.
