Thesea re all Ford manufacturer-specific OBD-II codes.
P1408 => Exhaust Gas Recirculation flow out of self-test range (non-MIL). The "non-MIL" would indicate this code is not the cause of your SES light coming on.

P1703 => Brake Switch Out of Self-Test Range. BOO as you listed is "Brake On-Off." This code indicates that during the Key On Engine Off (KOEO) self test, the Brake Pedal Position signal was high. Check your brake lights and see if they are working properly.

P1480 => I don't find this code in the factory service manual for the Engine or Transmission codes. The description you list would seem to be "Transmission Circuit Switch Out of Range," but I'm not sure what specifically that would point towards. Maybe the Digital Transmission Range switch or one of the speed sensors?
