I purchased a factory 6disc Bose player from ebay and had to pay about 70bucks to get the dealer to repogram the radio to work with my truck..also I think the mounting bracket is different because on my 2000 it had a pressure switch on each side of the stereo and once you pushed it down they slid out but on my 2003 it is bolted in instead..just my experience thought it may help.
