Hey, did ya know the new Triton V10 weighs less than a 302? SOHC, EFI... A guy put on in a Mustang, and added 20lbs to the weight of the stock car. It had the V6 in it before.
I think this would look good in a Cobra replica, give it a Tremec 6 speed, you have 310hp in a 2400lb Cobra. That's the sort of weight you need, because it does get hard to put down more than 400hp in a car that light, but you still get better acceleration than something like a Viper or Z06, plus the braking and cornering advantages.
