Um is this normal?

Can a stock 5th gen sedan chirp its tires into third gear? I know it sounds weird but well I just did... and I repeated it several times just to make sure I wasnt hearing things. The first thing I noticed when I started driving it was that the clutch pedle felt nothing like my CX one -- the CX seemed very loose, and I had to back off the clutch almost to the stationary position for the clutch to kick the car into gear -- and the sedan, even when I first started driving it was totally differant. I push the peddle all the way to the floor and I start to back off... and before the peddle is even 1/2 way back it connects.

I also noticed on the way home that its a hell of alot tighter then the CX was... like when I put it in gear, it feels like its actually in gear and its not loose like the CX was... I know the CX clutch was on its way out -- but still, its a world of differance.

So back to my story... so I was driving over to my moms and im on a long stretch of road that no one except me goes down it seams... so im like, alright lets see what we can do. I stop in the middle of the road, give it some gas, and let go of the clutch -- and it chirps first... hearing this kinda was like... woohoo! So I gave it more gas on the way to second and again, chirped the tires... knowing that what was next would be impossible I stayed heavy on the gas... shifted, and low and behold I chirped into 3rd!!! Now, am I correct in the assumption that a stock clutch wouldnt be able to do this?

The first day I got the car home, I was looking at the motor and stuff... what do I see? New timing belt, new radiator, new oxygen sensor and a few more goodies... adding all those things up -- then the fact that the car USED to have an amp and sub in it leading me to think the car was owned by a teenager at one point makes me wonder if for some reason I might have some sort of stage 1 clutch? I mean -- what do you all think? I know im not crazy I know what I heard... anyone got any ideas?
