My nephew has a 98 Cherokee Sport with a 5-speed manual. The gearing is really short probably same as a Wrangler; however that model came with the rare inline 4 cylinder which is pretty much gutless. I bet somebody's done a Wrangler manual tranny swap to GC 4.0L somewhere.
