I have an '88 CRX Si ........ trust me, you do NOT need rear (mid/tweeter) speakers. Get a good pair of seperates and put them in kickpods - the preformed ones from Q-logic are a little pricey - but all the planning is done. go here to see them

From my experiences, you will get a slight sound from the kickpod speakers bouncing off the hatch glass. I know this works because I had a judge tell me I needed to turn up my rear (mid/hi) speakers ......... he had no idea I didn't have any. There are even a few songs that sound like the music is coming from behind me - even though there are no speakers back there.
