IMO the best place is right before the fender or inside the fender after the bend in the CAI pipe.
It wont work right if you just stick it any where,
like in the bumper
It has to be inside the air intake tube
I do recommend that you solder the wires and use shrink tubing to prevent any corrosion on the wires.
It'll save head aches down the road.
