theres a coolent sensor in the side of your radiator just done 1 on my mom's car and it's behind battery in the side of radiator it's a buick park avenue..you just got to drain most the coolant out there not really that much of a cost on sensor.
just call autozone or advanced see how much 4 your coolant sensor also it just screws in not a problem too do...good luck....
