And then there were three - Silver F1s with the HDF Kit...

I stumbled upon an interesting set of photos on the McLaren Automotive site that I don't recall seeing there before.

One of them was not new to me, but the other caused me to realize that the F1 I thought it was before is a different car altogether. Here are the images:

So the second shot was the one I already had and I had previously decided it was a shot of what we believe to be chassis #059, the 'R66 MCL' F1. However, the new shot of the nose of the car shows a standard set of F1 headlights. 'R66 MCL' has always worn it's unique squinty-eyed headlights, even prior to the fitment of the High Downforce Kit, so I don't believe this is that car anymore.

The other silver F1 with the High Downforce Kit we know about is chassis #023, formerly Paul Stewart's F1 and the one that was used in the Martin Brundle Supercars DVD. I had already determined that the photo I had wasn't that car because #023 doesn't have the wheel arch extensions over the front wheels which can barely be seen in the rear shot, and are quite clearly there in the new front view we have now.

So I haven't got a clue which F1 this is, but I think it's pretty clear that this is a unique car we haven't previously identified. As far as I know, none of the other HDF Kitted cars we are aware of were ever painted silver so that rules them out and leaves us with a new 'unknown' F1. Lucky us...

Anyone else know different or better?
