I too am stuck with an auto. To the best of my knowledge, swapping trannies requires new axles, a new ecu, and a bunch of other parts in addition to the tranny itself. Not to mention the labor. To pay someone to do it for you would be well in the 3000+ range. If you can, it would probably be cheaper and easier to get a different car. Try looking at www.autotrader.com.
