Pramac Dántin Ducati Desmosedici GP4 ´05 (test+race)

Hi guys!
Time for me to end two really fun builds. I give you test and race version of Roberto Rolfos Ducati Desmosedici from the satellite team of Pramac Dántin. Team raced the 2005 season on GP4 bikes which were raced with the factory team in 2004.

I also made this build as a test of the Crazy Modeler PE sheet for the Desmosedici along with the Tamiya front fork set. I wanted to know if the mentioned sets are worth the effort and money in terms of better appearance in the finalized kits. I put both the fork set and the etch sheet on the test bike as I am madly in love with that livery. Judge for yourselves.

Race bike is built OOB from the Tamiya kit using kit decals in every place but the side cowl. The team raced with two different livery set ups, first one which the Tamiya kit is supposed to look like and another one with the black section going further up on the sides. I made the latter using some decals from a Renaissance decal sheet. Test bike is also from that Renaissance sheet but uses some standard kit decals as well.

I liked building these bikes as the Ducatis always offers something different from other racing teams. Design and technical solutions is something extra. I can really suggest these kits if you are in to trying something new.

And here are the pics of the completed bikes.

Any questions, just ask away. Any comments or suggestions on how to improve the builds further are highly appreciated!
