thanks for the response back. i will check the fuse box and to see if the break lights are working. i believe the fuse box is inside of the driver door (??)
ALSO...i forgot to mention that YEARS back i had an issue with getting the key out so i had the dealership take that thing out. after that the vehicle could still be in drive and i could shut the car off/take the key out. when i'd go back, i'd find that the car had rolled.
one last thing. where specifically do i find this over ride thing? is it under the leather part that goes around the shifter?
