not sure if you've understood me properly; i've never had paint just fall off with primer.
My experience is that when I drop something onto a model or drop the model itself and something breaks, the paint tends to chip off the primer; leaving plastic WITH primer.
i.e the primer is rock solid on the plastic.
a couple of shots of my black xk-ss, one of the few things that i actually finished....
the paint surface isn't 100% scratch free but the paint is nice and flat, hence the clear and not too warped reflection.
