If you were a loyal GM customer and had your vehicle serviced by the dealer, I would say no problem.
If not, you can try, but don't get your hopes up.

And before this turns into a warranty,GM,Dealer bitchfest..think for a minute about all the objects you own that have warranties..how many of those did you sucessfully have repaired "under warranty" after the warranty period expired?
