You should be able to tell by the viscosity whether it is Mobil 1 or dino oil. You didn't mention what grade mobil 1 you got, but if it's 0w40 it'd be quite obvious compared to something like 10w30.

I said I am using the following: I have been using Castrol 5w30w Full Synthetic in a 92 Cavalier for 10 years and change the oil and filter once a year about 10000 miles, I have never had any problems with the engine!!!
