Thought I'd start a thread on 4WD Primeras so we could collect tech info here since it's hard to find. Please post anything you have which is relevent to 4WD Primeras - HNP10 here.
I have a '91 T4 primera and its a 5 speed manual. Model number on the build plate is HNP10 where the "N" represents AWD. Transaxle number on the build plate says RS5F32A FM43.
Some questions:
I think the "RS5F32A " defines the manual box - does anyone know what the "FM43" means?
Anyone know of a way to translate Japanese text from Jap websites?
Anyone know the manufacturer's lube oil recommendations for the 4WD components?
I've ordered a translated owners manual from
www.hillside-books.com which I'm told covers the 4WD and has some manufacturer info added so I'll post anything useful it contains once it arrives.
I've been told the FSM the NZ dealerships use cover everything and is available for a meagre $700NZ ($298US)
