I am having problems with my wipers stuck in the up position when turned off. Everything works ok when they are turned on. I have read other threads on the site and seem to be a little confused. I have no problems disassembling everything, I get down to the silver/brass colored object ( not really mechanically educated) . That is where I am confused
, I look at this and I am not sure of the tab I am looking for to fix the problem. There is a small black tab that is NOT attached to the silver/brass thing. Is this the tab that needs to be bent? This tab is also kinda small and seems to be a pretty solid piece of metal, so I am not sure what it should be hitting on the brass/silver thing as it rotates. Also I hear of people talking about a spring??? what spring????? Any information that any of you can help me with would be great. If you have any pics that would show someone as mechanically illiterate
as myself would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance to those who can help.
