it turns over fine and everything and it will start up for a few secs but as soon as u give the gas it wants to choke up and die i had it in the shop and they said they tried to do a comp diag but the wasnt getting any reading that my ecm comp need reprogramed and it would cost me 500.00 if anybody has had the same problem or maybe knows somthing about this it would be highly apperciated

I have the same problem but mines a 98 I was told spark plugs.
