Re: 1989 GMC Sierra....brake issues

Dallas, TX........I just now got done TOTALLY bypassing the entire ABS system. The combo valve and the dump valve. Both the front and rear brake lines now go from the master cylinder to the wheels. I now have half a brake pedal while the truck is running, which is alot better than I had, but it is still the rear brakes/brake lines that arent pressurizing. I continue to bleed the rear brakes and continue to hear a small amount of air blow out of them, but I have ran "literally" 64 fl oz of brand new brake fluid thru the rear brake lines alone. I can find no evidence of any fluid leakage at the wheels or the lines.

Do I have to take the bulb out of the dash so the "brake" light dont stay on, now that I have bypassed the ABS?
