As far as the AWS, I honestly don't even notice it anymore. I remember when I first got it, it was noticeable, but nothing over the top. The rear wheels just turn a degree or 2 with or against you, depending on the speed you are going. It helps with high speed lane changes, but other than that...
Good luck with tracking down a vr4. Late models are harder to come by and generally not cheap to buy or insure, so it may take time. Autotrader and 3si are some good places to start. Welcome to AF.
