I was wondering if there was a way to hook it into the "Cargo Light" circuit so I can use my factory switch in the cab to turn on the camper lights. Currently the cargo light comes on but it is not doing any good between the camper and cab. Does anyone know where this circuit can be located? Preferably underneath the truck so I can tap it for the 2 lights.
I've been thinking of adding an interior light to the Vistal shell on my '02 LS. I hate to do it; but I'm questioning your thinking...

Unless you have a split rear window; why would you want to use the Cargo light on the dash to turn the lights on/off in the camper? I think it would be better/easier to run a +12v line to the shell and have a switch inside the shell where it would be useful rather than having a button on the dash control the lights in the cab.

If my thinking is wrong; please let me know!.

Off Topic I know..

I saw in your other post that you are thinking of doing the laptop+ gps receiver... That setup kicks ass; but if you put +12 in the center colsole; you'll also have an inverter generating heat in there as well. I have my inverter hard wired under my passenger seat tapped off the same +12v line I ran for my amp (under drivers seat). Hope it helps!
