As stated in the title, the temp guage needle does not move; it stays all the way to the right, which would normally indicate overheating. It stays there all the time; never moves. I'm wondering the cause of this is a faulty temp guage or a faulty senser on the engine block.
I believe it has nothing to do with the thermostat. But, driving this way is surely not good because we don't have an accurate temperature reading. So, if the engine was, in fact, running too hot, we would not know that.
