To avoid the problem in the future, clean up the corrosion that has accumulated on the hub face AND the hub face of the wheel, then smear a little bit of black grease on the hub face.

I will have to try again tomorrow. Where ]am i exactly hitting? the inside of the wheel ? if so, does that mean i have to crawl underneath the car and hit if from the inside ? Also, you said to thread a nuts on 5 or 6 turns....what is the point of doing that??
