Hey guys, I have a problem on my 04 M/T Aveo. It happens this last couple of weeks, when my engine is idle around 750-800RPM (normal condition, no engine check lights, normal temperature, just normal everything), suddenly the engine starts to shake and the RPM drops to around 400 (below idle) and almost goes off.
I was kinda freaked out when that happened so I just stepped on the gas to make the RPM rise to 2000 and it didn't happen again. What do you think might cause this problem? Is it serious? Well, it's time to replace my timing belt right now but I haven't got time, do you think this is what's causing it? Or maybe the gasoline tank/filter is dirty? Please give me some clue, cuz I don't want my Aveo to break down, hehe..
