Re: over heating
this over heating problem just started week ago. just out of the clear blue sky. It just got hot! went al the way in the red and the idiot light came on. I put a new thermostat/w housing in. before replacing the stat. I checked the hoses to see if the engine was cool enuff to work on. This is when I noticed the hose on the drivers side was Hot! and the one on the passenger side was cool so I just replaced the stat thinking this was the problem. The hose on the passenger side off of the stat housing to the radiator was still cool and this was after driving home from work 15 minute ride at highway speeds.Where is this so called bleeder nut bolt? maybe I'll try that before changing the pump.
