Re: 70 Firebird
The painting is done, it came out great! After the blue dried I took the decals and cut out the blue inside and used the black border to outline my paint. It was a pain in the a_s but well worth it. I sprayed the clear last night and today I have been doing some engine bay detailing.
A little paint and I added a radiator overflow tube and a window washer line from the washer tank to the pump/motor.
The chassis
I need to get some tamiya brilliant blue in a bottle so I can finish the interior. The A pillar, headliner and side panels need to be painted. After that it's time for the final assembly.
From my first impressoin of this kit I didn't think it would go together so nicely. It's turning out way better than I first thought. I knew I was really going to have to bring it life with some paint and detail. A good challenge.
