unfortunately i bought it used and i checked and i am like the 4th owner, my father in law had it last and of course he never had any problems what so ever. I do have an extended warranty that was purchased when he bought the car about a year a go and i transferred it to me so that is some insurance. I am not sure what they cover exactly, it says powertrain and transmission but i am not sure if it will cover this or not. I am going to give them a call tomorrow.
