The problem is that when the car sits for 45 minutes after being driven (cools down 3/4's of the way) and you start it up again it shutters and acts like it's flooded. I've had it look at by mechanics and they said the code tripped was caused by the EGR valve. $250 later and a new EGR valve I still have the same trouble!
Also they checked the fuel pressure regulator and it was fine.
Any suggestions what the real problem could be.

all right drive the car car like you normally do and let it sit for the 45 minutes
BUT the next time you go to start it after sitting hold the gas peddle to the floor start the car let it crank for 8 seconds repeat that again then start normaly that should be the clear flood thing on these cars and most other cars
see if it does it then and tell us how it works out
