Your pic has the same as mine. I recall it had some sort of retainer but it was different from the two outer which are fuel pressure and return lines similar to the fuel filter. The middle is for evaporative emissions. All I remember is I was able to get it off without breaking anything. Here are some pics I took of the job. As you can see I was able to remove the fuel pump pod assembly.
