My 88 NA FC with performance 14's would start to plow at 5 MPH in the snow, until you touched the gas (at which point the rear end would try to come around on you) and would break loose in the snow by flooring it at 35 mph in 5th gear (not recommended-- tail comes around FAST!)

My 86 NA FC with all season tires had as much traction as most other cars that were in the snow.
