well as a first car you can't really complain about what it is, especially if they're paying for it. if that's the only thing stopping you from getting a car then just find a different one, a honda accord is a great first car. you might not think it is, sure it's not the fastest thing or the best handling, but it's got tonnes of space, great fuel economy, it's comfortable, and most of all it's reliable. you're going to college buddy, you don't want your car breaking and crap because you cant afford to fix every little thing. besides, although it might be a boring car, it's still a great car to ride in, and it's got a great back seat.
