If I still remeber correctly when I went to get my 2000 Camaro SS the SSW package was a litle more then 3k. Well now it is probably more. The package included differnt rims, tires, hood, spoiler, air intake, and SLP dual exhaust. After 2000 the SS rims are ugly and if you wanted to get a LS1 get a 2001 or 2002. there is a bigger LS1 intake. Or you can buy a 98-00 and just upgrade to the bigger LS1 intake for $800 and gain 20 hp. My advised if you are looking to get a Camaro LS1 get a Z28 and put the hood on it($700), SLP loudmouth exhaust($350), FLP Full length headers and y pipe($1,200), Gears if M6 4.11's ($400) if auto 3.73 with a 3,400rpm torque converter($900) you will be running low 12's and look almost the same as an ss with out the wing ($400). That is only if you buy brand new. You can get a 2000 SS for around 20K with pretty low miles on it. Stay with the Dark Blue Metallic, pewter, or the Burgandy. You don't see many of those. Also if its 2002 get the sunset orange an awesome color. Hope that helped.
