Hello,

What year Miata? Some of the early to mid 90 Miatas had problems with the spark plug wires. After 3-4 years or 30K miles, they would become leaky and cause loss of power in during high load, quick acceleration, or high revs. Not sure if this is your problem, just stating a common problem w/ early wire sets.
