Re: pulling engine
With the 3 cylinders I don't mind pulling the engine or transmission independently from the other. However with the 4 cylinders I find it easiest to pull the engine and transmission as a unit. Remove the torque converter bolts while installed. Remove the head while installed. Than attach a crane to the head bolts, remove mounts and axles, lift out of car, then seperate afterwards. A little more prep time, but worth the relative hassle of the 4cylinders. Just my two cents.
