Heh heh, well yeah, he's actually fairly serious. It's relative to perfection though. He thinks it's all good, but the only bit that came close to the reviews and the unanimous adulation the car got from everybody was the engine. He strongly disagrees with what a lot of the reviews said, and has set out and spent a considerable amount of money and time getting things right. Specifcally downforce and stability at speed, and general handling and response.

The brakes are forgivable I guess, as braking technology has come a long way in ten years. But he is considering upgrading those to bring them more in line with what is available today.

This guy is a true petrolhead, and I encourage you to get some pizza, sit back and spend a few hours reading all of this:

It is amazing (helps that he answers almost all questions, and writes eloquently and comprehensively to boot) and is a totally unique and completely unbiased insight into the thoughts and attempts at mechanical correction of an informed F1 owner. There is simply nothing else like it on the web, and the few posts found here on AF by F1 owners pale in comparison.

One of the most pertinent comments I've read coming from him is a recent one:

"I tell everyone who might be interested that the NSX is the best road car that I know of, so I am trying to do my bit."

This comes from an owner (and driver!) of both the NSX and the F1.
