Check your coolant and oil out for a possible head problem
When was the last time the system was flushed/ Also, your car should have used Dexcool instead of the regular good old anitfreeze mix. If you mix the 2 together, after a while they sludge up.
Could be a possible air pocket too.
Otherwise replace the core.
