Re: Now its just getting old

Light switch stalk sounds like the headlight problem.
I had a similar situation, no low beams, only high beams. replaced the switch 2 years ago, still works fine (less than $40.00 at AutoZone/Napa-slightly more if you have cruise control)

The clunking is probably the lower ball joints, If it only makes the noise when going over bumps. If it does it constantly when engine is not under load (foot off gas and coasting), it's the CV shafts.

The gauge problem is either a bad ground connection (hard to find), or more likely the dash cluster is not properly sitting in it's mating connector. Did you have the cluster out recently to replace bulbs?

Performance (or lack of) could be a lot of different things. If you're not getting SES light, or trouble codes, it could be a plugged fuel filter, or bad coils or ignition modules. The other things that won't throw a light would be Fuel pressure regulator and fuel pump. Check your pressure to see if that's the problem. Gas gauge fuel level sensor is part of the Fuel pump assembly. You need to lower the tank to get at that, and it's a pricey item, >$250.00 for the pump assembly.

Good luck.
