for the Revell C6-R I'll be doing the following.

Base coat.
Polish.
Decals
Clearcoat.
Polish and wax.
Paint any black trim items with X-18.
Then apply the BMF around the exhaust and the PE/machined pieces using clear paint as the adhesive.
