a 1g head fits just perfect on a 2g block, the studs will not effect it at all. You just need other things like a 1g thermostat housing, water pump pipe and you would be better off getting a 1g intake also.

I did this swap and the only thing that did not go smooth was rounding up some of the other parts i needed that i listed, oh a 60mm TB would be better also.
