David was just pointing out the engine he was refering to was Brad's engine, which has been well documented of what power levels it has produced.
So, there are no factory 302 blocks that can handle 1000hp?

There is not a single 302 engine that came with any fox body mustang that I have seen that can handle 1000hp the R-block which is a race block or marine block did not come stock in any fox body mustang. So again, I have yet to see a stock
production block push 1000hp. Production means something that was produced for the assembly line at a factory.
