Compare the passenger seat to the driver's. Replacement parts can be found at a wrecking yard. To remove the seat, move it forward, remove bolts holding the sliders to the floor, then move it back and remove the remaing bolts holding the sliders to the floor. Look at the adjustment mechanism and see why it is not locking into place.
