Re: replacement body

well I have one that I intend to build that is new in box, unopened. Can I say thanks for the warning? just how badly is it warped? have you tried fitting the chassis to the body, maybe that will straighten it out. I mean the body gets pretty dog gone thin in places like the A-pillars, and lower door jambs, not to mention it's a full detail car with the front and rear lids opening. there's lots of room for flex there. and the glass, I bet it will help straighten things up too.

here's my tip, with such a large body, I'd say fill your bath tub up with hot water, as hot as you can stand it. shape the car to position under water, and pull it out and dunk it into a 5 gallon bucket of COLD water to get it to stay where you re-shaped it to. hair dryers and heat guns should stay FAR away from plastic models.
