Yeah. Whatever happened to the operator being in control of the vehicle? Even the throttle is no longer directly controlled in some vehicles. And the seat belts wrap around automatically, and the lights turn on even if you don't want them on, and the wipers turn on themselves, and the headlights dims automatically, and the rear view mirror goes autochromic dark, and some even park themselves.

Rides like that? We USED TO call that a "taxi" in most places. Just more items that make us less responsible for our own actions, I suppose.

Just be aware that the ABS modulator could possibly stop in a position where it would impede brake fluid flow in either direction. They are not supposed to, but it is theoretically possible. Think about what that might do.
