Unfortunately, while you might get creative and perform some destructive removal of the old bushings, the replacements really should be installed with a press and the appropriate drifts and supports. There are portable presses suitable to the task, as well as the standard arbor or hydraulic presses. Findind one available during off-hours might be a chore, however.
